Meet Dr. Brandon Owen

Dr. Brandon Owen is a board-certified orthodontic specialist and a world-renowned innovator. In addition to personally caring for all of our patients at the Owen Orthodontic Center, he is the President and Founder of KLOwen Braces – makers of Stride Custom Braces.
His passion for creating healthy, beautiful smiles was the inspiration that led him to invent the Stride Custom System. It’s one of those incredible technologies that makes the patient experience far shorter, and far better.
As an expert in digital orthodontics, Dr. Owen understands that getting the best possible result in the fastest time benefits everyone – and the best part is, it doesn’t cost more than the slower, more traditional approach.
Sure, seeing patients, speaking at orthodontic conferences, and creating new innovations to make orthodontics faster keeps him pretty busy, but you’ll find he’s equally committed to his role as husband and father to his beautiful family.
Dr. Owen is recognized by orthodontists across the globe as a leader in digital orthodontics, lingual orthodontics, and TMJ. His passion for providing top quality patient care spurred Dr. Owen to create the nationally-acclaimed KLOwen Custom Braces System, for which he was given the prestigious OrthoInnovator Award by the American Association of Orthodontists.
The AAO has also invested in his bracket company, KLOwen Braces. He holds numerous patents and is asked to lecture at numerous conferences and schools each year. While most orthodontists use technology, Dr. Owen shapes it. A consultant for nearly a dozen companies in the digital orthodontic space, he is often the first one to get access to new innovations.

As well as winning the first American Association of Orthodontists’ Innovator Award, Dr. Owen was offered the position to lead digital braces development at three of the top orthodontic bracket companies.
Dr. Owen is also the first orthodontist in North America to offer in-office digital bonding and the first to do a CAD/CAM 3D printed night guard.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is an active member of the prestigious Angle Society. He has multiple publications and serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Alberta.
